You are taking the the world (especially the investment analyst world) by storm. The startup spotlight series is a brilliant idea.

A couple of suggestions for the spotlight section:
– You could represent the data in a visually appealing manner. As it stands, you have written a fairly long article to convey essentially 5 datapoints. For example, You could introduce a visual timeline which shows sales and funding. This gives the novice reader a really quick understanding of the company. Bar/pie charts powered by tableau like softwares could be a nifty bonus
– True insight comes from benchmarking. You could show the aggregate sale/market share/expense ratio etc of the competitive landscape. You could look at additional insights – something on the lines of “expenses as a percentage of overall revenue have gone down even while revenue has quadrupled”
– I am not sure if this is easy to get, but I do know that Urban Ladder acquired BuynBrag. Is there a way to capture acquisitions as well ?

Making the data more presentable and interesting would ensure sites like nextbigwhat and startup village always link back to you; a la tech crunch crunchbase symbiosis.

Cheers,
A tofler.in fan and a daily visitor
